Abu Dhabi University Scholarship 2024-2025 is open for international students. This scholarship is available for undergraduate, masters, and PhD studies and provides a 100% waiver on tuition, application fee, registration fee, student services fee, and health service fee.

The maximum coverage period of any scholarship is four years, or upon graduation, whichever is sooner. In some cases, English language requirements are also included. It is not necessary to re-apply for a scholarship as long as the scholarship maintenance criteria (outlined in the details of each scholarship section) are met.
The scholarship application process begins after a student is formally admitted to ADU and assigned a unique student ID number. This ID number is used to securely log in to a university account that has a section for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
As student information, including academic records, has already been processed by the university upon admission, any scholarships that the student is eligible for will appear on their account page. The student may choose to fill out the online application for any scholarship that appears here, as he/she qualifies for these scholarships based on merit. The application is completed with the appropriate details filled in by the student, along with the uploading of any required documents, and then is submitted online.

Scholarship Coverage
Undergraduate Scholarships
- Academic Scholarship: This scholarship covers 20% of tuition fees for continuing Abu Dhabi University students.
- Abu Dhabi University Scholarship: This scholarship covers a 15% up to 50% waiver on tuition fees for UAE residents and GCC candidates.
- H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship: This scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that offers a 100% waiver on tuition, application fee, registration fee, student services fee, and health service fee.
- Athletic Scholarship: This scholarship covers a 25% waiver on tuition fees for continuing Abu Dhabi University students per academic year.
- Family Tuition Waiver: When two or more members from the same family are enrolled at ADU studying an undergraduate course, the family tuition waiver will apply a value of 15, 20, or 25 percent on tuition fees depending upon the number of family members enrolled.

Eligibility Criteria for Abu Dhabi University Scholarship
To qualify for this scholarship, the candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

Undergraduate Scholarships Eligibility Requirements
Academic Scholarship:
- This scholarship is available to continuing students who obtain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.60 for two consecutive semesters.
- The academic scholarship will apply to the period the student is enrolled at ADU with full-time status (registered with a minimum of 12 credit hours).
Abu Dhabi University Scholarship:
- University scholarship is awarded to UAE residents and GCC national candidates who meet the specified criteria
- Students who have newly graduated from secondary school, and join ADU within two years of their secondary school graduation, may receive a scholarship with a value from 15% up to 50% waiver on tuition fee per campus based on their high school average
- Meeting the English language proficiency requirements defined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- The scholarship will apply to the period the student is enrolled at ADU with full-time status (registered for a minimum of 12 credit hours). The only exception to the 12 credit hours may be given in the first registered semester and the following term for students who have not yet met the English language proficiency requirements.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship:
- This scholarship is available to the top 20 public secondary school graduates across the UAE who are newly admitted and join ADU in the fall semester of the year that they graduate from high school only
- Receipt of the scholarship is contingent upon the selection and formal approval from the Office of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed AI Nahyan
- The scholarship applies to the period the student is enrolled at ADU on a full-time basis (registered with a minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Meeting the English language proficiency requirements defined by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- EmSAT (or equivalent international exams) requirements: Applicants will be required to have a minimum EmSAT Math score of 1,200, an English score of 1,600, and an Arabic score of 900 for all colleges.
Athletic Scholarship:
- This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate active participation on ADU sports teams (either as a coach, captain, or player) with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.75
- The Athletics Scholarship will apply to the period the student is enrolled at ADU with full-time status (registered with a minimum of 12 credit hours)
- Meeting the English language proficiency requirements defined by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
- Approved recommendation letter from the ADU Student Affairs Department
Family Tuition Waiver:
- Each student enrolled shall benefit from a 15% waiver on tuition (family members enrolled is 2)
- Each student enrolled shall benefit from a 20% waiver on tuition (family members enrolled is 3)
- Each student enrolled shall benefit from a 25% waiver on tuition (family members enrolled is 4 or more)
Masters Scholarships Eligibility Requirements
Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship:
- Applicants with an undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5.
- Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 in the Master level program is required.
Alumni Scholarship:
- Applicants should be Abu Dhabi University alumni.
- Maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 in the Master level program is required.

Step 2: Upload the following documents:
- Certified copy of official general secondary or high school certificate (or its equivalent)
- Passport-sized photo with a white background
- Copy of a valid passport (and residence visa if resident in the UAE)
- Language proficiency certificate: An official score report of Academic IELTS band (5.0), English EmSat (1100), TOEFL IBT (61), or CBT 173 or ITP 500 (ITP taken at AmidEast Institute only), Cambridge (154-161), IESOL/SESOL (B1/B2), Pearson PTE (36-41).
- Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the high school where the student completed Grade 12/Year 13. It applies to all individuals who have fulfilled their academic requirements at private schools.
